Selena DanDan, MA, Licensed Resident in Counseling

Selena graduated with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University, and is currently a Licensed Resident in Counseling in Virginia under the Supervision of Kaitlyn Zupka, LPC. Selena provides a variety of services such as individual therapy, group therapy,and family therapy. In addition to private practice, Selena currently works to support clients of all ages working towards overcoming their eating disorder in a partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP). Previously, Selena worked with clients with serious mental illness (SMI) for nearly 5 years, providing psychosocial programming to prepare individuals with SMI for independence within their community.
Selena uses an integrative approach that includes interventions from different modalities such as Narrative, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, Acceptance and Commitment and Cognitive Behavioral therapies. Selena believes that therapy must be adaptable to meet each client and their individualized needs. In session with Selena, you will be a part of a collaborative team working towards your wellbeing together; you will be validated, and you will be challenged to meet your therapeutic goals.
